After thinking about what I want to do for my “professional” I decided I’m going to take over the world, and I am going to use A.I. to do it. Am I allowed to use this for my assignment?

How is using AI to generate art, cinematography and other performance arts impact traditional art and human creativity? I wonder if art will lose its connections to humans or if art will get better as a result.

Can we talk about Apple’s plans to open a new factor for AI servers in Texas and how that could change the landscape of the AI industry?

The main thing I’ve been thinking about is how best to learn new things using AI to conquer any learning curve I have while trying to master the task. I’ve been using it to have shoot-back ideas about how best to achieve my passions. The goal is to become my best self and using AI can be a great help.

If and when quantum computing is possible on an applicable level, will it drastically affect the average person’s AI and or any other day-to-day processes? What is this kind of computing needed for?

I recently saw that Microsoft released a prototype of their quantum computing chip that could change how problems are solved and potentially lead to breakthroughs in certain fields like medicine. How do you think this will impact our society and AI as a whole?

I’m curious how the rise of quantum computing will be shaped by AI and, in turn, how AI will evolve as quantum computing becomes more widespread. I think it might be the next huge burst in technological advancement.

What underlying technologies enable AI to generate realistic videos and audio recordings, and how might these advancements impact the future of media, communication, and digital security?

Are apps like Photomath and Mathway considered AI? Can their usage be detected?

A worry many people have is that Ai will replace jobs. Will Ai create any new jobs potentially?

We talked in class about how some industries are facing threats as AI can do many aspects of their jobs for them. Should there be any limitations or restrictions on what AI is allowed to do if it has the potential to take people’s jobs, or should we let it continue to expand to hopefully create new job opportunities, even if it means reshaping industries?

There have been many discussions of AI taking peoples places in the job market, but will it also potentially create jobs as well? Or give people the opportunity to use AI to make money on their own and work for themselves?

The more I learn about AI the more I become scared of it, but not in a robot take over sense…it makes me think about the simulation theory or even the bigger question of why are we here?

Will AI applications continue to operate as separate tools, or is it inevitable that they will eventually merge into a massive, all-encompassing AI system? What benefits or risks could come from such a development?

Why does AI sometimes try to get on our nice side when we are talking to it?

Could we soon have operating systems like the ones shown in the movie Her? Acting as personal assistants or even friends that we can just pop and earbud in and it will feel like we are communicating with another person

Have you used generative AI for professional use, if so, how? Was it helpful? What were the positives and negatives?

Is there a way that generative AI can help college students get jobs. Is there a platform for this? Are there agents that can apply to positions that you may be interested in?

When you showed us Notebook LM I realized that we are right around the corner from the robot reality. If there was a model that combined the conversation creating within Notebook LM and the learning and reasoners in other Ai’s that we know, the only thing we are missing is the robotics to make a functioning, human-like robot.

The notebook lm tool really made me think about whether approaching school the traditional way is less effective. If I’m reading a 30 page paper, I’ll need to spend time reviewing and summarizing important topics afterward. With notebook, I can review the main topics and ask specific questions about what I don’t understand. Will this method result in a more wholistic understanding? Personally, it feels wrong, but how do professors view this way of thinking?

Having just started to use the Notebook LM after it was sampled in class the other day. I believe it/ ai assistants such as Notebook where they can download material and then create study materials and a trained Ai on it will be insanely useful. I wish I had this the past four years it would have been amazing to have for studying. The generated podcast episode of it is also insanely useful for something like if you are driving and need to study some material. Have it download it and then go listen on the road.

My favorite part of the week was being introduced to the tool Notebook LM. I like to look at all the benefits that AI can provide on a daily basis and believe that sites like Notebook LM can provide that. As I previously mentioned in a reflection, I am interested in discovering more personal/agentic models that can carry out tasks and ultimately make tasks easier. Overall, I believe that implementing AI into personalization uses can provide a lot of benefit to its users.

have been thinking about jobs of the future. What are the jobs of the future? Those that are most reliable going forward (although they may look slightly different than they do now).

Likely lots of technology jobs like Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Data Analysis & Science (including ML, CV, AI, NLP, etc), Cybersecurity, and Software Engineering.

What else? Maybe Energy, Education, Law?

What factors should developers consider when selecting an AI model for specific applications, and how do these models cater to different use cases?

Today as AI continues to grow and grow day in and day out many people fail to realize
the power required to produce Ai generated outputs. The data centers that power AI
models such as ChatGpt,Gemini, Claude etc use up to 7* the amount of power as say a
google search would this consequently has a negative impact on our environments and
infrastructures health. In the coming years as AI gets more powerful and more people
start adapting to using it everyday this energy consumption will only grow this alongside
the impact of mining the materials needed to make the hardware will have
consequences on the health of our planet. With this being said policy aims should be
focused on growing AI responsibly.

The question I have is that if there are all these resources out there that can help in a lot of industries today why aren’t they used? Are they frowned upon? Genuinely not known about or what?

I feel as if the world of ideas is expanding rapidly, and media is about to explode with Chat GPT and AI. With AI, I think a lot of smaller underground ideas and brands are about to rise to the surface with the help of Chat GPT, which helps people bring their ideas into a professional manner. what do you think?

The more we talk about the capabilities of Gen AI the more I wonder what the limits are and if we should be more worried about the regulations and safety of the tools.

Because AI is now generating high-quality designs, ad copy, and branding, what unique value do humans bring to the table at this point. Is it only the fact that we have emotions and AI doesn’t?

Why are different AI tool subscriptions so expensive? I saw ChatGPT is around twenty dollars for their monthly subscription. I find that pretty expensive for an AI tool, but I guess these chatbots are getting more advanced and thus more expensive.

How do these companies develop specific Ai engines for dfferent things

How should AI developers balance innovation with ethical concerns, particularly in areas like bias, surveillance, and decision-making?

With the rising use of AI in the design field, what impact will it have on creativity and originality of design?

How will AI’s ability to analyze and predict human behavior in real time reshape the way professionals negotiate deals and build trust and establish long-term business relationships?

As a person interacts with an AI, does a profile of these interactions exists? By profile, I mean in the sense of a collection of preferences indicated to the AI. This could include favorite recipes and food tastes. The reason I ask is because if an AI were to collect a profile of these things for better customization let’s say to the person interacting with it, then are there privacy guardrails maybe that exist to prevent that information from being sold? I think marketers could have a field day with the preferences and tastes a profile would provide.

I think it’s interesting how AI could help me with my resume since it can do things like scan my LinkedIn for good things to include that I may have missed as well as help me with formatting.

As a particular AI technology develops, do the individuals who “get in early” reap the highest rewards? Alternatively do early adopters and innovators suffer the biggest losses?

It is interesting to think about how AI will shape the future of creativity as it could potentially replace us humans creativeness. AI tools are already able to produce the same things as us humans so I’m intrigued to see how it will all play out.

This week I have found it interesting in how we can use AI to study more efficiently. This week I found the google website where we could download notes and hear a podcast with your notes quite interesting. I definitely found that interesting and plan on using that to my advantage in the future when it comes to studying for exams or quizzes. Through our weekly assignment I also have found how beneficial AI can be when it comes to creating and tailoring a cover letter or resume to a specific job. I also think that this is something that I may be able to take advantage of in the future when it comes to applying for jobs.

How can companies use AI to both improve work efficiency and keep from replacing too many jobs, and what can they do to make sure AI is used in a balanced and helpful way?

Companies want to hire creative individuals who can lead their organizations with innovative ideas. However, the use of AI in the application process, such as in cover letters, is often strictly regulated. Does relying on AI diminish our creativity? How far can we use AI while still being creative?

Question: How can AI design education evolve to make sure that human creativity and emotional intelligence remain primary in an era increasingly shaped by generative AI?

Statement: As generative AI shapes our creative and professional landscapes, I believe AI design education must heavily include an understanding of human experience, comparing human intuition with the intelligence of machines or artificial intellect.

Let’s talk about generative AI crafting compelling narratives….When using AI to craft stories, whose voice is being heard? the creator’s voice, the AI’s voice, or the human influence embedded in AI’s training? Also, if AI-generated stories are shaped by training and patterns, can they ever create something truly original?
